Why Discipleship?
The fight for the next generation is a spiritual battle that cannot be won through better programs or trendy marketing. God tells us in the Bible that Christians are to be disciple-makers and this begins in our home with our children. This is why Chosen Gen is a ministry focused on discipleship.
Discipleship Works
God Commanded It
God was clear in Deuteronomy 6 that the way His people were to pass on their faith to their children was through discipleship. Parents were to show their kids how God was the center of every area of their life.
Jesus Modeled It
Jesus discipled twelve men day in and day out for three years. He taught them through His words and showed them through His life how to put these truths into action.
It Works
Jesus sent out the Twelve to make disciples. These “unschooled, ordinary men” obeyed Jesus and the world was changed forever.
