Kathryn - Co-Founder
Kathryn has a degree and background in Theatre and Communications. She has a diverse set of skills and work history including volunteering at a Christian camp, working with inner city youth at a summer camp, leading workshops for a large children’s theatre, directing a theatre production at a Christian high school, teaching lessons and leading an elementary string orchestra, and blogging for HolyHenHouse.com. Her favorite and most important job is being a mother and homeschooling her children.
When she has a few quiet moments, Kathryn enjoys playing violin and cello, reading, taking family adventures, hiking, cross-country skiing and visiting with friends and neighbors. She loves coffee, good discussions and friends who spur her on to live more boldly for Jesus.
Our adventure together began our first day of class freshmen year of college. We sat next to each other in theology class and the rest was history. We dated all throughout college and got married after our graduation. In the years we have spent serving our local church as youth leaders and through raising and homeschooling our own family, God has opened our eyes to the desperate need of the next generation of the Church.
Following Jesus, no matter where he leads, is quite the adventure. We are on this journey alongside each one of you. Keeping a strong marriage, raising (and homeschooling) five kids, and founding a ministry are the missions God has us living right now. Follow along as we journal our personal adventure and see what God's been teaching us.
